NOT SOLO CAMPING • CAMPING IN HEAVY RAIN, FLOOD AND THUNDER‼️ Before the month of Ramadan came, my friend and I camped at a location we had never been to before. This location is still around the southern slope of Mount Slamet. We started our journey when the weather was quite cloudy. Yes, it's still rainy season where we are. So, we can't predict the weather because anything can happen in the wild. While on the way, it started to rain so we used raincoats. The heavy rain flooded the road we were on. The water was flowing so fast on the street that our shoes got wet. Heavy rain accompanied by lightning accompanied our journey to the location. We set up our tent under the heavy rain. Luckily, the lightning wasn't too intense when we set up the tents. After the tent was up, we rested while drinking coffee, while enjoying the serene sound of the rain. In the evening, we made dinner in the form of steamboat and chicken cornet. Meanwhile in the morning we made breakfast in the form of breadtoast. Lokasi ini masih di sekitar kereng gunung Slamet. Kami memulai perjalanan saat cuaca yang cukup mendung. Ya, di tempat kami masih musim hujan. Jadi, kami tidak bisa memprediksi cuaca karena semua bisa terjadi di alam liar. Saat dalam perjalanan, hujan mulai turun sehingga kami menggunakan jas hujan. Hujan deras membuat jalan yang kami lewati banjir. Air mengalir sangat deras di jalanan sehingga sepatu kami basah. Hujan deras disertai petir menyertai perjalanan kami hingga sampai di lokasi. Kami mendirikan tenda di bawah hujan deras. Beruntung, petir tidak terlalu intens saat kami mendirikan tenda. Setalah tenda berdiri, kami pun beristirahat sambil memimum kopi, sambil menikmati suara hujan yang syahdu. Malama harinya, kami membuat makan malam berupa steamboat dan juga cornet ayam. Sedangkam pagi hari kami membuat sarapan berupa breadtoast. The heavy rainstorm accompanied by the sound of thunder made the atmosphere feel very tense. Outside the tent was flooded. Initially the weather in the afternoon was still quite sunny. However, after entering the afternoon, rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorm began to come. The flysheet was unable to stem the flow of falling rainwater. So we decided to add a bigger wooden tent support posts. After the rain stopped, we also cooked dinner, which is an Indonesian food, Beef Rendang. Shortly after dinner, the rainstorm came again. The atmosphere was quite tense because rainwater had entered the tent because of the strong winds plus lightning that struck the sky. It rained all night. Setelah hujan reda, kami pun memasak makan malam yakni berupa makanan khas Indonesia dari kota Padang, Daging Rendang. Tak lama setelah dinner, hujan badai kembali menghampiri. 5 Days of RAIN in our CAMPING VAN on the road through Tasmania. It was so RELAXING. We quite enjoyed the Van Life, it is our first time trying to live in a Van for 5 days. As you noticed this video is slightly different. It is still focused on Nature Sounds and Visual, but we do a little more moving and travel this time. It's our first try to make this type of travel camping video, so please don't hesitate to let us know what you think? This video is about the first 3 days in our van. On th first day we found a stunning campspot directly at Lake Pedder. And we were lucky as we found that there were no other campers when we arrived, wow. It is worth travel during the week, as everything is much less busy. We had the opportunity to enjoy outdoors while cooking, because the van had an awesome outdoor BBQ. We had nice steak with veggies, sandwiches and Seafood Pasta. We also stopped by Pedder Wilderness Lodge where we enjoyed nice Chicken Parmigiana and Seafood. The views from there were amazing too. Gordon Dam was one of my personal favourites. Absolutely magnificent structure. It was huge and the natural surrounds were stunning.
